'Out of Space' error message

When getting a message that your mailbox is 'out of limits, you cannot send or receive messages.

Your email account is full. The Fidelity Mail Server Administrators who run the mail servers set limits to the amount of storage space for each user. This helps keep the mail servers from running out of space and shutting everyone's email down. When your account reaches this limit, generally you can't use your mail service until you free up some space. Use the below technique to clean out and manage your mailbox:

Manually delete old or unwanted messages, typically, messages with attachments (such as sound and image files) take up the most space.

  1. Sort your thru your messages in your Inbox, Sent Items and Deleted Items.
  2. Select the unwanted messages.
  3. Press SHIFT+DELETE to permanently delete the messages. To highlight more than one item in a row, hold the SHIFT key down.
