Here's some straight talk in English.
There will be no "geek speak" or technical jargon here. Being
"techies" ourselves, we get tired of the mind numbing lingo that seems
to be useless and trendy in the world of geek. If your computer thing-uh-majiggy won't work, then by all means call us and don't be afraid to try and explain what is happening. Computer talk in general sounds silly (i.e. IP Address, Memory Dump, Blue Screen of Death, Cookies, Trolling, Flame, Netiquette, GOpher, KillFile, Newbie, Ping ). Who made these names up? Click here for some more terminology for grins. |
